A charming boutique-style hotel centrally located in trendy Marylebone village, just a short walk away from fashionable Bond Street, Oxford Street and the new Abercrombie & Fitch store on Savile Row.

If you are travelling on business you will appreciate the hotel’s business centre and meeting facilities, as well as the its proximity to London’s prime business districts. By staying in this well located hotel, leisure travellers will also benefit, being close to theatres, galleries, antique shops and London’s best shopping.

After a long day of meetings or shopping, you can indulge with a visit to the health club, complete with a superb 16-metre swimming pool, gym, spa, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and dance studio, which is free of charge.

Area information

Home to Noel Gallagher, Madonna, Sir Clement Freud and the fictional Sherlock Holmes, there's no denying that Marylebone has star appeal. Close to the West End, the 92-acres that make up Marylebone village contain independent boutiques and unique speciality shops, such as Button Queen and VV Rouleaux.

When you need a pit-stop, the food here is amazing too. You can't move for patisseries, cheese shops, butchers, chocolatiers, cafés and restaurants. Join the locals shopping at the farmers' market (Sundays, 10:00-14:00, Cramer Street car park), or listen to world-class classical performances at Wigmore Hall.

The ambiance was very modern and comfortable. Good taste in decorations.

The service (cleaning and tiding up) in the rooms was very poor. There was no water available in the refrigerator and even though we complained repeatedly we were never furnished with drinking water (except for when we actually asked for it through the room service - paying room service fees for it, naturally). The Executive Room we stayed at was too small considering its price.

Checking out (and staying in the holiday Inn at Heathrow airport the night before my return flight. They seemed to get everything right. A lower class hotel with a higher class service and Standard).

The building work was disturbing. The finishing of the room was poor. Noise meant that we had to move 3 times and the general organisation was extremely poor. There were communication problems between the hotel and Spa facilities. One lift was broken for 4 days of our stay. The toilet flush was not fit for purpose. But the staff, in particular the duty managers were friendly.

The room was amazing and the staff were very helpful.

The exterior was under construction at the time of my stay, so there was scaffolding directly outside our window.
